Careers
Long-term care runs on software nobody would choose today.
It is a large slice of American healthcare and it has been underserved for decades. We are early, well backed, and looking for a small number of engineers who want to work on it.
Working here
Remote-first
NYC and Bay Area preferred, with quarterly in-person company events.
Full benefits
Healthcare, dental, vision, and 401(k).
Time in the field
Periodic facility visits. The product is judged by the nurses using it, so you go and watch them use it.
Fully funded
Institutional backing from operators and investors already embedded in long-term care.
Why now
Distribution most startups spend years trying to earn.
We are backed by investors and operators who are deeply embedded in the industry, which means product validation and a route to facilities from day one. The engineering team is small, so the systems you design are the systems we run.
You will work directly with facility operators, and you will visit facilities to watch nurses use what you built. That feedback loop is the reason this product can be good.
Open roles
Senior and staff engineering, remote-first.
Senior / Staff Backend EngineerEngineeringRemote — NYC / Bay AreaFull timeSenior / Staff
You will own the clinical API surface, facility onboarding and data migration, MDS billing and reporting, and the integrations that make nurse-centric automation possible.
What you'll own
- Core clinical APIs and services in TypeScript on AWS, with NestJS and Node.
- A genuinely complex clinical domain modeled in PostgreSQL and Prisma — assessments, orders, care plans, scheduling.
- The onboarding flow for new facilities: data mapping, migration reliability, operator experience.
- The engineering bar — testing, CI/CD, monitoring, and HIPAA and SOC 2 practice.
What you have
- 5+ years of backend production experience, with systems you have owned in production.
- Strong TypeScript, or a strongly typed language you can move from, plus production cloud experience.
- API and schema design for complex domains.
- The ability to work directly with clinical stakeholders and non-technical operators.
Senior / Staff Fullstack EngineerEngineeringRemote — NYC / Bay AreaFull timeSenior / Staff
You will own features end to end — the clinical APIs and data models underneath, and the dashboards, documentation flows, and real-time views that nurses and operators live in every shift.
What you'll own
- Features end to end: the data model, the API, the interface, the ship, the iteration.
- React and TypeScript interfaces over TypeScript services on AWS.
- Clinical dashboards, documentation workflows, staffing views, census management, and real-time alerts.
- The engineering bar across the stack — testing, CI/CD, monitoring, and HIPAA and SOC 2 practice.
What you have
- 5+ years of full-stack production experience, with systems you have owned in production.
- Strong TypeScript and React, plus production cloud experience.
- API and schema design for complex domains, and real frontend architecture instincts.
- The ability to work directly with clinical stakeholders and non-technical operators.
