About Prysm

Prysm is building the clinical and operational platform for skilled nursing facilities. One documentation entry flows to the assessment, the care plan, the task list, and the MDS, so nurses chart once and the system tells them what to do next. We are seed funded by strategic investors from the healthtech space, and we build alongside the operators and clinicians who will run on what we ship.

What you'll work on

• Work with customers to understand user needs, identify opportunity, and translate large, ambiguous problems into scoped, testable features.
• Participate in discovery, solution design, technical implementation, testing, and post-launch iteration.
• Work with frontend components, APIs, backend services, and data models to deliver a complete solution that meets the user need and is maintainable, observable, and performant.
• Build software that is accessible, observable, and performant, with a focus on user experience and reliability.

You might be a fit if

• Experience shipping products in production and working with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.
• You model messy domains carefully and scope features appropriately.
• Clear communication and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• You effectively use AI tools to accelerate your work and improve the quality of your output.

Bonus points

• Experience with TypeScript and React on both sides of the API.
• Experience in healthcare, EHRs, or another regulated domain.
• Event-driven systems, where one write fans out to many consumers.
